2010 Moose Dream Season

Well folks 2010 was a Dream season to say the least. 10 Moose hunters and 10 bulls, again Moose hunters at Batnuni went home with freezers full. Moose hunting at Batnuni proved again to show why the have become one of the best at what they do.Bill and Lyle- AKA Dbl harvested a monster 50 inch mature bull on day 2 of the hunt. It was Bills 7th year Moose Hunting with Batnuni and he did it again another 50 plus bull. For those of you that don’t know what DBL stands for [ Dumb Blind Luck] is Bills and Lyle’s motto. Moose hunting with Batnuni is truly adventure in remote wilderness. The longest a hunter took in 2010 was 4 days of hunting to fill his tag. Well Moose hunters, we are gearing up for the fall rut for moose hunting in BC. As we only hunt Moose at this time, it makes no-wonder why we have such high sucess. BC Best Moose Hunting

Lately we have been asked, who has the best Moose Hunting in BC. Well that a hard question to answer, as we have been 100% opportunity in last few years on Moose and 100% harvest on Bears. A Outfitter to the north of us was trying to tell persecptive clients that the he had the best Moose hunting but failed to tell clients of the open season to residents and antler restrictions in his area, The proof is in the pudding, you pay for what you get.Don’t believe in the persons position in a clubs or organizations that makes him a better Outfitter, check all references and ask to speak to his guides that will give you a good outlook. Another question that was asked about Moose or Bear hunting was the 2×1, don’t let an Outfitter talk you into that with another hunter that you don’t know. This is a disaster waiting to happen, price sounds good but what about pesonalities,missed shots and wounded game. 2010 Spring Bear Season Wraps up

Well spring 2011 is over and were gearing up for the Fall Moose hunts. Lyle,Al and myself have been busy cutting trails in to area’s we have never been. Last saeson proved to be one of our best yet, with 100% opportunity again for all the hunters. John from WA harvested a 57,1/2 inch bull 2hrs into his hunt, WOW! Many nice bulls were harvested and a few crankers seen but not gotting. I only have a few spots open for this fall, so don’t delay as they will be gone soon. Last years fire now seems to be a blessing in disgusie as food soruces take over the area and provide excellent habitat for all.

Bears hunts, the question asked by many hunters spot and stock or bait hunts. I get many calls about this. The 1st thing I tell hunters spot and stock are fully guide hunts and will cost more. You have a guide with you at all times your not droped off at a tree stand in the afternoon and left there till dark. Spot and stock bears hunts are the truest form of hunting, harvesting a bear with his head in a barrel, well, I’ll leave it at that. The other main reason to have a guide while bear hunting , its one of the hardest animals to judge. You have nothing to compare it with,like other animals Horns, Antlers etc. I’ll talk about judging bears at a diffferent date. Last year at Batnuni our best day of Bear hunting produced 33 bear sightings in one day,not to bad. Bear hunting at its finest, come and try the ultimate bear hunting experience SPOT AND STOCK!!!

BC Bear hunt specialist Batnuni again was leader of the pack in spring of 201o with 100% success for its clients. A book 7 ft,6in monster was taken with a longbow at 12 yards and was filmed on video, which will be aired soon. Also again we had a larege amount of colored bears taken too.If your looking for a bear hunts look no further as 2011 should be just as exciting.
